Ah Sunday, what a perfect day it was.
I always look forward to going down to our life class in Suffolk, & this time the freedom of being able to use a full imperial piece of paper again was a joy!
Our model was my great friend Sarah, who has just started modelling again & Sunday was her first day at our class.
I did some good work - especially the last two longer poses of half an hour & one & a half hours. I had been using brown paper with indian ink &/ gouache in the morning, but switched to stretched watercolour paper with watercolour paints for the last pose.
Rebecca Lyne our lovely teacher is so supportive & nurturing to all her students, I really think she must coax the best out of us all !
In May she will be moving the class to the old Bank in Eye, Suffolk, where she is opening an Art Centre. There will be exhibitions & performances, classes & activities of course - which look really amazing & unusual - & what sounds like a very special café, so we can all make the most of the place. I can't wait. The website is www.thebankeye.co.uk incase anyone wants to check it out.
